Harvard Museum of Natural History features the University's famed Blaschka Glass Flowers gallery, but also dinosaurs, whales, and hundreds of wildlife specimens from around the world. This kid-friendly museum is Cambridge's top tourist attraction, located on the historic campus, just an 8 minute walk from the Harvard Square T. Children as young as 18 months love exploring the 500 different real 'stuffed animals', from a 15 foot-tall giraffe, to lions, tigers, elephant, hippo, rhinoceros.. A-Z, armadillo, aardvark to zebra. Also extinct animals such at the 15 foot giant sloth or the almost volkswagen-sized glyptodont.
