Pros: it's free! Cons: it's small, and mostly just a gift shop. I love that you can buy old Muni placards and transfers, and there are some truly unique SF gifts & decorations to pick up here. Be warned that they have a lot of fragile things in reach of little hands, however.

Free! Not much to do for the little ones aside from watch the spinning wheels, but we still manage to spend time talking about cable cars and dancing to the ancient music video in the back. Beware, there is a bell to ring but if you ring it more than a few times they'll ask you to stop!
