I took my 3 year old to the Little Learners class at the SF Zoo. We had a blast! Each week focuses on a different animal for the theme — the class I attended was all about lemurs. Well we finally did it. We splurged on a zoo family membership for $130. If we go to the zoo 3 more times in the next year then the membership pays for itself. And another huge plus is you don't have to wait in the long line each time to get in. We are excited to be zoo regulars!!

It's great exercise, lots of animals to see, carousel and train rides, and a huge playground! There are animal feedings daily so make sure to check the schedule online, that can be a lot of fun to watch, especially the sea lions and penguins!

Got there at 10am right went it opened to maximize our time before my daughter's nap at noon. She loved the giraffes, zebras and gorillas. Her favorite part of the zoo though was the playground 😂😂. We'll have to come back again and see the rest because there was so much we didn't get to. Tip: get a hand stamp on your way out to get back in later in the same day.
