1 year old Birthday ideas

Hello my daughter will be one years old this month on the 14 which is (Valentine's day). I want to asked anyone who could help me with some ideas of putting her party together which will be at home. I would like to buy her a nice gift that I hope she would love from her mom and dad. What should I buy her?

Keep your expectations low, and the party short. Don’t invite too many people. My son walked away from the crowd at his birthday party because it was too much stimulation and noise. We only had 10 guests which was still too many. Have a start and end time. We made the mistake of saying, “swing by after 10 am.” Some people came way later than we intended. There was no way he would have been able to nap with all the commotion and noise so his birthday from his perspective wasn’t great.

I agree. Not too many people, and I wouldn’t spend too much money. I bought lunch and cupcakes and my daughter fell asleep after presents. It was really more of a family get together and to see the baby than a birthday party. I was a little disappointed because my daughter HATED cake lol

Soo cute! Valentine baby❤️. I know it’s still cold, but the step 2 princess chariot is adorable. My son loves his step 2 truck and getting the princess chariot for my 15 mth twin girls. Step 2 also has adorable pink cars as well.

Since she’s turning 1 you should do a tiny theme where everything is tiny. You can make tiny pizza they may still have those tiny hotdogs n buns in stores tiny cupcakes you can make tiny party hats anything you can make tiny but is not harmful to babies and you can even incorporate pink and red hearts for decorations since her Birthday Day is on Valentine’s Day. I hope you guys have fun and enjoy! 😃

I actually share a birthday with my sons so we had a couple of people for me rather then my son since he didnt have baby friend back then. But dollar store decor she wont remember much or know the deference save the money for future birthdays when she get ms to pic things out. Keep it short and take many pics 1st birthday is extra special. And I would play with heart and angel babies with the arrows lol since she is a valentine's baby

Okay so first things first, she’s just the cutest!!! Love her big eyes and expression!! ❤️❤️😍 We had a big party for my daughters first but I have a huge family. I have the tally somewhere but there were close to 100 people at her first party and every one of them was family on my side except for my best friend and her daughter. No joke, and this wasn’t even extended family, it was sisters/brothers/nieces/nephews/first cousins and their kids. Her party was flower themed because her favorite thing at the time was flowers and butterflies. So I would start by saying, have as big or as small of a party that works for your family and you. Second, if you want to do a theme you could do something that either your baby likes or something that’s Valentine’s Day related (ONE love comes to mind since she’s turning one and it’s Valentine’s Day!). As for a gift, i got my daughter a nice doll and a kitchen set. She loves both and plays with both every day. I hope you have a great day!!! Happy birthday to your lil angel!!!
