10 month old activities

My son just turned 10 months on 2/24. What are some things you do will your 10 month old? Looking for some Educational, fun, activities and new things to try. He’s crawling all over, standing up while holding on to things and seems to get bored easily. Trying to find some new things to try with him. Photo for cuteness

My almost 10 month old is crawling all over and we kind of just let her get into anything, as long as it isn't unsafe. Her favorite thing is to pull every book or piece of packaged foods off a shelf. While she does that, we talk about what each item is or read the book. She loves making noise, so boxes of pasta are her favorite. We play a lot of music and dance. She has started pointing so i label A LOT of items around the house.

Yeah I’ve been letting him venture more but our whole house is tile and I’m so nervous he’s going to hurt himself. We made a pretty big play area with the foam mats but he’d rather be following me around. He also LOVES music. Sometimes he’s dancing without any music on lol

Our house is all hardwood, so I get that feeling but I just take her socks off. I figure she may fall, but that's part of life. We also go to the library because it has a nice play area in the kid's section. And the kid's gym she goes to has free play times.

I’m trying to get him in to more stuff like that but most class times I find in my area are weekdays when I am working. Very few classes on weekends.

What may seem like boredom is just a really short attention span, something that will grow with time. It doesn't matter what play area you make, they will want to do what you are doing. Maybe when you are cooking give them some pots and pans, and spatulas, or Tupper Ware, sound makers are a hit, and everything Jenn said sounds like good ideas, music and books never get old!!

What a handsome boy. His eyes are sparkling and so alert. Stacking toys are fun.
