I also agree with ditching the diapers, I think most kids aren't going to willingly give up the diapers if they have the choice and convenience of using them. I potty trained mine at 26 months, and I was 7 months pregnant. If he's going when you tell him then he's proven he knows what to do, and how to do it, and going in the diaper is ONLY happening because he has the option. My mom was convinced he would 'regress', once baby was born, but I don't believe in regression, it's just their way of letting you know that they are mad with the change, but they haven't forgotten how to use the potty. After my 2nd was born we had a few days where my 1st kept having accidents, but I quickly learned he was craving the extra attention, so I stopped talking to him about going potty, and just cleaned him up. and when he realized he wasn't going to get the extra attention he stopped. Then the next day I made sure my husband or I took him out for some one on one time without the baby and he stopped having accidents on purpose.
