Well it’s certainly possible to grow and thrive without meat, I would discuss with your pediatrician...if you don’t eat meat yourself but are still getting plenty of fats, proteins, iron, and other nutrients that meat offers through your own vegetarian diet then there’s really no reason you need to go out of your way to feed your son meat (in my opinion). You can just offer softer, smaller bite size versions of whatever you eat. My daughter is 18 months and we offer meat whenever we are eating meat but she seems to not be that into it anymore (unless it’s bacon, lol).
