We schedule as close to bed time or nap time as possible and brought snacks and color wonder

Also a good time to use tv/a movie.

Food and a new toy. I’ve heard good things about the BedBox, but that would only be if you’re getting a seat for your baby. Snacks, iPad, nice headphones, and maybe a toy 😬

When I flew with my just-turned-two, her favorite packed items were the large light weight baby swaddle blanket (it was her play area on the floor while waiting in the airport, peek a boo on the plane, and then a blanket when she fell asleep), the “dimpl” toy keychain, and one of those party toys where when you blow through it the paper unravels and turns into a long tube (I don’t know the actual name for it!)

Thanks guys!! I’m extremely nervous, we have flown with him several times before when he was a baby. But not since hes been more active/alert and not for this long. But we did schedule around his nap time. I think he’s going to be to excited to sleep though.

I’d also recommend Melatonin if all else fails #keepingitreal 😬

If you’re on instagram, check out @busytoddler...she just posted a cool airplane activity where you have them make a snack necklace with string and Cheerios...it could maybe be one activity to keep him occupied!!

Fly as close to nap time as you can. Also, but a few small new toys, since your flight is long. My son loved these... 8 Piece Tegu Pocket Pouch Magnetic Wooden Block Set, Tints https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WMCZGY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UZp.CbFFBVSRN Montessori Wooden Cheese Toy for Toddlers, Best for Travel in Car and Airplane Mouse and Cheese Lacing Puzzle with Free Stress Relief Squeeze Ball, Educational Lace Up Activity Game Great for Age 3+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0787MPCTH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_H0p.CbBHYNA78

We never ever give our phones/iPad but the plane is the only exception lol get an isle seat bc you’ll be walking up and down a lot. I’d get toddler their own seat. I did lap ticket for my 18 month old last weekend and it was such a mistake, it’s just way too tight. Lotssss of snack, hide a few toys for a few weeks so they’re new.

Snacks, drinks, tablet a new toy all things your wouldn’t usually give into. We also flew early right after he woke for the day so he would be more tolerant which worked well until our flight was super delayed 🤷🏼‍♀️
