At what age can I start giving my baby regular milk? She’s 11 months old now.

My pediatrician told me it was okay to start with Regular Whole milk at 11 months. At the time he was drinking 8oz bottles and she told me to start off slow by mixing up 5oz of formula and filling the rest of the bottle with whole milk until my Son didn't mind the milk anymore and preferred it over formula. And it worked like a charm. I have a happy and healthy 2 year old now

My doctor said 11.5 months and to just go cold turkey to a sippy cup with milk. You can do half and half but sometimes it causes more stomach issues and it’s best to just cut them off the bottle around 1 year old.

Oh and if you are formula feeding... start making the formula bottle room temperature and then gradually make it colder.

I started oz by oz with my son at 11 months. 1 oz cow milk , 7 oz BM for a few days then2 oz per bottle for a few days and so on. Slowly over the month. He had a full cup of cow milk around age 12 months and loves milk to this day!

My son is 8 months and he drinks straight juice, cow milk, almond milk, and water. Does great with it. He prefers almond milk though

Its usually after they turn 1. If they have sensitive tummys they make formula for children 1 and up like next step and it has more nutrients in it than regular milk and is also more gentle on their stomach
