Baby #3

Im not pregnant. But we are thinking about baby number three. I do want more kids but now that my youngest is 4 and going to start school this year, it has me thinking do i want to start over after both boys are in school and i will finally get a break or will i regret not having another. What is everyone else's thoughts and opinions?

I didn’t have my third until my older two where 7, 9 years old. Definitely not planned. If your youngest is only 4 I wouldn’t see any issue with “starting over”

If there’s even thoughts for a third, I would say go for it. Would rather be “tied down” for a few more years than regret never having that third child. I totally understand how you feel about “starting over” though. But just think of it as eliminating the possibility of living with regret later on; there are probably few suckier feelings in this life than wishing you could’ve, should’ve, would’ve.

Five kids total, 23, 10, 8, 4,3 sometimes there are things that the kids can’t do together because of the age gap. We want to go to Disney & I wonder “do we take the 23y old?” Then when the oldest goes paint balling with dad, I’m with the small kids at home because they can’t go paint balling... or the preteens want to go to Six Flags and I have to find a sitter for the toddlers... Might as well have baby 3 while the other two aren’t too big.

Just go for it. You can always find ways to “survive”. 😀
