Baby stopped sleeping thru the night

My daughter is 19months old , she hasn’t been sleeping thru the night as she usually does and I don’t know why . For the last week she fallas asleep and wakes up maybe 2 hours after and doesn’t want to go back to sleep no matter how much I rock her or try and put her back to bed she stays awake so late and I just don’t understand why if she’s was sleeping thru the night before . Does any one else experience this?

I don't know if this is what is happening with your daughter, but my son went through this after he learned a new skill, such as rolling, crawling, standing, etc. He seemed to want go stay up to practice. It usually only lasted a few days. He would also have a tough time sleeping when he was teething. Again, I don't know if that's the reason for your daughter. Just sending you some moral support! I've been there, and we'll see about my 4 month old. He already went through a few days of rough sleep after learning how to roll...here we go again! 😳

I agree with Stacy. Usually, milestones can cause this or teething or separation anxiety. I’m going through the same. I have been waking up my son about 30min earlier in the morning and not letting him sleep his full 2 hours during nap time and it seems to be helping. He won’t go to sleep because I’m putting him down at the same time and he doesn’t need as much sleep. Also, we were letting him nap a bit too late. Anything past 6pm and he won’t go to bed by 11pm (yes, that’s his bedtime) it’s the only thing that works with our schedule because he won’t stay asleep during a transition (from house to car and car to house) if he goes to sleep earlier and also, he’d be up HOURS before I could even get 6 hours of sleep. I still think it’s a sleep regression but it helps that we fixed his sleep schedule and dropped from 2 naps, to 1. Good luck!!!! I use the Ferber Method and I go back to the book when I need more info.

You could also try getting her really tired a hour before bed by playing and some times having a set bed time routine can really help

That was our sleeping schedule we would play to get her tired and shower her to relax her body and then she would knock out , but lately it’s been off but I’m start trying new things thank you guys :) she’s currently asleep 😴 I hope 🤞🏻 she sleeps thru the night
