Baby wakes up when placed in crib!

I used to be able to just place my 1 YO in her crib at night after nursing her and rocking her to sleep. Recently she’s teething and has a small cold that she’s getting over with. Could it just be that she’s attached to me? Because my husband and my sister have been able to just transfer her to her crib when she falls asleep. My husband is guessing that it’s because she feels safe with me and like my smell or something. I hope it ends soon because it’s so tiring as I’m 7 months pregnant!

That's a tough one. They feel that emptiness and cold air on their back when you're no longer holding them. The best method is to put her in the crib while awake, but if that doesn't work - try holding her butt/back for a while after she is in the crib. It may be that change in pressure that wakes them.

They get more clingy when teething or sick. It will probably be easier on you once she’s feeling better
