Bad eaters

Does anyone have suggestions on how to get 2 year olds to eat? He won’t eat Mac and cheese, chicken, bbq, hamburgers, meatloaf, and he also won’t eat stuff from like McDonald’s, chick fla a, and Burger King. When he does eat it’s just scraps of food. He weighs 35 pounds and the doctor says he’s healthy but he won’t eat!

Keep trying new foods, and eventually you will figure out his favorites. Our littlest (who is also two) is very particular about what meats he eats, but loves vegetables, fruit, and his absolute favorite thing right now are peanut butter crackers. 😆 So much so that we have to hide them in the pantry and ration them out. Try giving your little one a wider variety of types of foods over time (instead of a kind of buffet all at once, which can be overwhelming for everyone) and you’ll figure it out soon. 👍🏻

My daughter was a picky eater like that. She won't eat anything but noodles. So I had to make soup noodles or stir fry noodles. And her favorite was spaghetti you can never go wrong with that.

My son has been picky up until now at 4 1/2 he came to us and said he wanted to try new foods. It's been successful with everything. Some kids are picky and some adults are picky. Try different foods and find what he likes most. If the doctor says he is healthy I wouldn't be too concerned.

Just give him whatever you're having, and if he won't eat it than don't stress about it, especially if weight is on track. Got this advice from our pediatrician. Stressing over it or turning it into a battle won't make them eat it anyway! He'll grow out of it :)
