What do you parents think about bathing everyday. I would love to give my 2 year old a bath everyday but my husband thinks I’m crazy. Any advice?
Every other day is good. Of course when things get messy that may change.
I actually give both my 5 year old and 1 year old a bath everyday and if i miss that day they'll get one in the morning and then before bed. But I do agree that every other day is good too!
Mine goes in the tub almost everyday just so I can get some homework done! But I only wash her every other to every 2 days.
I bathe my kid once or twice a week. Unless otherwise needed. Only cuz she sensitive skin and it was doctor advised.
We have given our son a bath EVERY SINGLE night since he was born. I can count on one hand how many times he hasn’t (due to fever or being away). I’m sorry but little kids are gross. They sweat and eat dirt. They poop in a diaper, or they poop their pants or they don’t wipe properly. They pick their noses. No kid of mine is going to bed without a bath - boy or girl.
Once or twice a week. She only gets a bath every night when we have grandparents visiting.
I give my daughter a bath everyday also. She loves baths!
I like to bathe my son every night. Just because it’s our nightly routine it gets him cleans he loves water and makes him sleepy!! I don’t use soap every night I read it could harm the skin. The nights I don’t use soap my mother in law asked me what’s the point in bathing him every night then? Well it’s our routine, I let him splash and wipe his butt and private with a rag!
Depends. For example yesterday my husband give our 1 year old shower in morning and afternoon she wouldn’t stop pointing fingers at bathtub with a word “this” she says for everything whatever she wants “this” so end up putting her in bathtub for like 40 minutes. Sometimes every other day depends
All my kids 12, 10 and 2 take a bath or shower daily.
It depends on the kid. Our older son has sensitive skin, so we either give him a long bath soak, or he doesn’t get a bath for a few days. He’s also very clean and has pretty good hygiene. Our second sometimes needs two baths a day... he’s messy, and sadly a stinky child! Lol. He sweats a lot and just definitely needs at least a bath a day. His hair gets oily (in a bad way) and uncomfortable so he starts to itch. My older son actually could use some oil on his head and so we hardly wash his hair, even when he bathes.
Everyday especially when he goes out to play.
I do stay at home with her so she’s not in school getting dirty but we do go out and do things everyday I can’t stay locked in the house with a crazy 2year old. On the days we don’t do much I don’t mind not bathing her.
When my son went to daycare, he got a bath every day because...gross! Lol. But now that I stay home, he only bathes every other day or so, when he’s made a big mess, or when we go out. We just kinda wipe down if it’s not bath night. We tried to only do bath every other day b/c of eczema before, but I just couldn’t do that when he was at daycare or not home.
It’s part of our routine. We don’t use soap and I usually join him. It’s a relaxing quiet playtime before bed, for us
I bathe mine every night. It seems like it’s a part of a lot of parents’ routine. She’s 6 months but I feel she knows now that when she gets a bath, it’s night night time. I use the Honest Lavender bath soap without any skin issues, but every child is different. Although I wash her hair every other night.
I work 2nd shift so my daughter gets 4 baths a week on the nights that i am home
