I’m in the same position right now! If you question any decisions your doctor has made or feel even a little bit uncomfortable then you should seek other providers. I doubt any feelings would be hurt and you don’t even have to give a reason for switching!

IMHO it's your body, your delivery, and a personal decision. Your OB should be professional enough to understand and if not, you're making the right decision.

You are paying them for a service. It’s not about friends. It’s your body, your child, your day. You need to be comfortable with the doc you are entrusting with yours and your child’s lives.

I ended up switching OB doctors because she wasn't explaining things to me or anything and this is my first pregnancy and I want to know what's going on. I just found another one I like and had my info switched over just said I changed hospitals. However it's your pregnancy, your body change if you want don't think it'll hurt the other doctor. If you feel it's right then do so

Doctors are a dime a dozen! They forget they can be hired & fired just like anything else. Doctors work for you. Sorry not sorry kinda thing.

Don’t sell yourself short worrying about feelings! They honestly won’t sweat it and you should be 100% with the person helping you have a baby. I’d just call and say you’ve decided on a different provider and thanks so much for everything.
