Bed sharing when baby is ill

My 1yo usually sleeps in her crib at night. But sometimes when she’s sick, she doesn’t want to be put back in her crib and I’d be so tired that I’d just have her sleep on the bed with me for a bit. Does anyone else do that?

There’s no right or wrong way ... you do what’s best for you. You’re exhausted, sick babies are work, relax mom, you’re a rock star regardless. She’ll readjust once she’s in better health, it’ll be work again but she’s sick, it’s ok. No harm, no foul, 😊

I do that too. It’s fine, I think.

I do that to. Sometimes our babies just need mommies. It’s fine.

I totally do that! Actually we cosleep all the time, but they definitely need us more when they are sick. They wake up more, needing to be comforted, so having them right there makes Everybody to have a better night

Absolutely when she’s sick! Once she’s better, she’s pretty good about getting back to sleeping in her crib.

I do that, even though it always messes up my attempts to transition from cosleeping!

We do that too we she’s sick. It helps her sleep but man she is not a good cosleeper, rolls and kicks everywhere. My husband and I hardly sleep those nights. But she goes back to sleeping in her crib fine when she’s well again. So no issues. 🙂

I do this all the time. Although I have been trying to get him to go back to sleep in his own bed. He is a bed hog!
