Bedtime trouble 🙄

My daughter is 5 about to be 6 in September and she still has to have us sleep with her until she falls asleep or sometimes sleeps in our bed. I don’t know what to do and I want her to learn to sleep on her own. Is it to soon or did I wait to long? HELP

I know thanks for the advice I will start this summer so by the time school starts she’s in her routine. My daughter is not scared she’s just spoiled I guess but she throws a full tantrum when we tell her to go to bed on her own. 🙄Did you Step son cry the 1st few weeks?

OH MY LORD did he ever!! First we tried just going in and tucking him in and saying good night then leave but he would actually get out of bed screaming and crying bloody hell!! Then I looked up online and saw people had great success with the monster spray so we tried it. Now he won’t cry if my husband were to leave he just gets upset and will fall asleep on his own. However, my husband still has to actually go in the room with him and get him in bed. He just can’t go into his room and go to bed if you tell him 😩

Ok thanks so we’ll just suck up the crying and I’m going to try it. Thanks a lot

Not sure how big your bedroom area is or if she’s in a larger bed...but maybe you could try putting a mattress, cot, her bed right next to yours? Then she’s ‘with’ you but not in bed with you?
