Best baby carrier?

I used the moby wrap when she was a newborn, and currently own the Infantino Flip Advanced 4 in 1 Convertible carrier but I am not a huge fan— my 3 month old is just under 14lbs and I feel like her legs struggle to fit through it, and in general it doesn’t provide enough support, for me or her. Any thoughts/suggestions??

So.... we started with two different kinds of wraps, one with stretch and the other just cotton, but felt that very early on baby would start to sink down because the wrap would lose its shape. Then we tried a BabyBjorn original that we inherited, and that was great up until 15lbs, when the weight becomes too much without a waist band. Because we liked the Bjorn we stuck with the brand and got the newer One. Also fine up until close to twenty pounds and then we felt the waist strap just started to constantly slip, leaving all weight on the shoulders again (also those dang clasps never stopped being frustrating). So..... we had inherited a more than gently used original ergo and it was honestly still great, we even bought the infant insert and used it super early... only issue was no flip to front and no head support. Tried a Lillebaby but the flip was just too weird.... and FINALLY we landed with the Ergo Omni. Easy, lightweight, head support front and back wearing. Pricy but it really does last and does everything we need it to.

We used a Moby and BAby k’tan for a while but they were pretty hot. We got an ergo baby carrier and I liked the structure much better but still hot. Then, we bought an Osprey hiking carrier ad we love that thing! Baby needs to be a bit bigger, maybe sitting up first, but it lasts up to 50lbs so we will be able to use it for a while. The backpack has a frame, so baby is not touching you and is way cooler.

Lille baby has been awesome for us!!! But there is likely a baby wearing international group near you, if you google “baby wearing international” you can find your local chapter. They usually have a huge library of wraps and carriers!! You can attend a meeting with your baby and try them on for free and walk around to see how it feels and if you like it, then buy the one you want.

Ive recently bought the boppy carrier. Its a mix of a carrier and a wrap. I love the moby but its hard in our wet florida summers and a baby bjorn is just not supportive enough for my back problems. I tried a friends lillebaby but found that didnt support me enough either. My little one is 6 months and about 13lbs 25 1/2 inches he fights great in it and he can face outwards too.

MiaMily Hipster Plus! It has a built in seat, you never have to worry about if their hips are positioned correctly. You can also take off the carrier straps and wear the seat around the house. Helps and ton when you have a heavy baby!!

I have the infantino and agree it's not super comfy once the baby is heavier. I got the basic Ergo as a hand-me-down and love it!! My son is almost 14 months and he still loves being carried whether on my front or back. It has also been amazing for long flights, saving my back from holding him all the time.... I could go on and on. Love Ergo!

We used an moby at first (I still really miss the close snuggle), we now use an Ergobaby 360 for everyday use and a Deuter kid comfort frame carrier for hiking / day trips. It is the best thing ever if you are into the outdoors. It has a sunshade and full rain cover.

Good to know, as we are very outdoorsy, so I’m definitely looking for something that can be used for hikes too!

I love my woven wrap for the versatility; I bought it on eBay. Wrap You in Love on YouTube has great instructional videos on wraps. I second trying out different wraps to get a feel for what you like.
