Books for 3.5 year old

Need some recommendations to look out for at the library tomorrow. Some of his already-favorites are Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, books by Richard Scarry, and Pete the Cat. Would like to switch things up...

We like Jane Chapman’s “Bear” books. For example, “Bear Says Thanks”. Little Critter books are great too.

Little Blue Truck! My son has loved the whole series of books. Little blue truck leads the way, little blue truck, little blue truck Halloween, and little blue truck Christmas.

When my oldest turned 1 or 2 (she's 5 now), she was given a book called Izzy the Ice Cream Fairy because her name is Isabelle (Izzy) as well. We then discovered it was one in a series of books about fairies based on a different food. There's Camilla the Cupcake Fairy, Katie the Candy Cane Fairy, etc... They're fun stories. We don't have them all. But they seem to follow a pattern of a problem arising and figuring out how to solve the problem. The structure of the stories are rhyming in a sing songy like rhythm. They're really fun books. I think Tom Bugbird is the author Another fun series of books is the Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems.

My son is in love with Jane Yolen's dinosaur books. Right now we have "How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon?". "... Go To Bed?" & "... Eat Their Food?" are big favs he loves to memorize.
