Breast to bottle

My 2 month old will not take the bottle. I tried dr brown bottles and nuk bottles (nuk some times he’ll take it most of the time he wont). He would cry so much I will get frustrated and give up and give him the breast. What can I do to make him take the bottles

Try having someone else give him when you aren’t in sight.

He actually takes it when my husband feeds him but not from me

Will probably take a while for baby to accept bottle from you. If you’re holding him, he wants the good source! :). Just keep trying. And sometimes if add a extra barrier of blankets between me and baby to minimize my scent a bit. But baby knows mama, and mama = boobie milk! Lol

My daughter never took bottles from me no matter how hard I tried. From others yes, but never me.

Ugh. I need him to take it as soon as possible lol

Are you trying to stop breastfeeding? If so, don’t give in. It might take others feeding him for a day or so while your milk dries up and he gets used to it. Or you can phase out slowly. But every time you give in it’ll be harder.

No, I just want him to do both so it would be a easy transition when I go back to work in 4 month

Oh, well my advice, based on my limited but intense bottle struggle, is just you breastfeed and have dad and others give at least one bottle a day. Gets her the practice she needs with them. And once you’re at work you aren’t the one giving them anyway.
