Breastfeeding pain

Anonymous

I've been breastfeeding my son for almost 2 years. I never planned on going this long, but circumstances with his eating and moving across the country made it so. The last couple days it has been randomly painful. It's not nipple pain, it seems to be coming from within my breast. It's a sharp pain that seems to come out of nowhere. He is not biting me or doing anything out of the norm. Has anyone experienced this?

Have you ever had a milk duct clog before? Does it feel like that? That sounds to me like what a clog feels like. Especially if it happens during nursing

Yeah that sounds like a clogged milk duct, try pumping and feeding from different angles and massage your great really well before. It should pass soon, also try a warm compress while pumping
