Can a toddler and NB share grooming kits?

Things like thermometer, nail clippers, the nasal aspirator? I feel like they should each have their own but my husband thinks otherwise?

I don’t really use the aspirator on my toddler.... he screams and runs away. But everything else they share! 🤷🏽‍♀️ nail clippers, hair brushes, all of that- why not!

I second the first comment...we use a nose Frida ( she drop kicks me and pulls some wild MMA moves and is out of my sight the second she sees that thing), but if we had another child I wouldn’t be concerned about sharing the grooming kits.

I would say no to the nasal aspirator because toddlers get sick a lot and you don’t want those germs to be transferred to a newborn

My kids share most things except brushes and tooth brushes because otherwise it's too hard for me to keep track! I don't ever use the nasal aspirator on the older one though because she can blow her own nose. On the thermometer we use a cover and clean between uses.

Yeah my kids share nail clippers, thermometers, combs, etc. they have separate ones but my daughter likes using ALL of her little brothers stuff. Even tries fitting into his clothes sometimes 😂 her things are hers and his things are also hers 😂

We share everything. Sterilize the nasal aspirator and thermometer after use but you should be doing that anyway!
