Curious about favorite, breatheable ergonomic carriers for the (dry)hot summer months.

We have an infantino and I love it. It’s comfortable, quick & easy to put on, but it’s thick. Would love to find one that can keep my LOs somewhat cooler while I’m wearing them for under $100.

I think one of the ergo models has a mesh version. Good luck and post if you find a good one because I’ve been sweating buckets baby wearing for years 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have the Lillebaby too! I mean, there’s no getting around sweating. But compared to others it’s not bad!! It has a lot less material is what helps I think

We have the Ergo 360 “cool mesh” and there’s more airflow than other carriers. It’s more than $100 though.

I love ring slings when it's hot, especially like a linen fabric. Also look into Frog Togs, they ate cooling towels that help. Look on YouTube for videos of them with babywearing and you'll see how they're used.

I love my Lillébaby all seasons complete. They even have a full mesh version called the Air Flow.

Are any of these okay to wear in the pool? Obviously not for swimming, but while standing in ankle-deep water, with the risk of getting splashed? (Our pool requires that I be within arm's reach of my older children while they swim, and I need a safe way to hold baby while I supervise her big siblings!)

The Lillebaby complete airflow, it's made of mesh so it's breathable. You still get hot but not too bad. It's $125 normally but you may be able to get it on sale. Also the only color that has a hood that isn't mesh is the champagne color so that's something to consider.

They make water slings and wraps that can get fully immersed. I love mine. But any of the carriers can get wet (most can be machine washed) but they won't dry quickly.

We have an Ergo 360 mesh, but daughter still gets hot. We invested in a Deuter kid comfort frame type. Best thing ever for hiking!

Boba Air...it's so thin it can pack into its own pouch. Make sure to purchase the updated version with the padded leg openings. I feel like since it's nylon it would be good for around the pool, too, since it would dry quickly.
