Diaper sizes ???

Soooo, I went from nb all the way to size 7 . My family was laughing so bad over the holidays they said they've never heard of that size . But I did buy target brand diapers because that was the only size 7 they had lol. So my question is what size do I get now !!!????? Or do they go by weight ???

I buy by weight. My daughter is 20 pounds so she’s in size 3 for now. How much does your little one weigh? Size 7 seems huge for a 7 month old

24 pounds should be in a size 4.

My son was off the charts big for his age, and we never got to size 7 diapers... especially at 7 months... my current 9 month old is only in size 4... that should be about the size he should fit well in. Generally i use weight, but also croch size, when the diaper is super tight in the leg areas, reguardless i go up a size.

My daughter is 24 lbs and she’s in a size 5. But I find that she is always moving up a few lbs before the box says she needs to. I put her in size 6 for overnights.

My 3 year old who is 33lbs is only in a size 6! You get less diapers per pack as you go up in size so try and size down as much as possible.

Always go 1 size bigger ! 😁😁. I guess that's what I was thinking lol but I just bought size 4 so we're going to see how this goes, it's much smaller then a 7 lmao but I know my son takes some major doodooos, I'm just afraid of it becoming an explosive bomb ! Maybe size 5 or 6 yes . !!! Great advice thank you!!!

I had a 8 month old in size 5, because it helped with the blowouts. She was also a big baby, she is still in size 5 at 25lb and 15 month old. Size doesn’t always work with how much they weigh. Target diapers I have found run small...huggies and Costco are my favorite.

Both my older kids never used pull ups, size 7 & potty trained after that. BUT my third & final one who is 20 months, 32 pounds is on 2-3T pull ups because he gets a little red line with smaller pull ups & size 7 or 6 diapers by his thighs. It’s really baffling to me! We used Honest but the diapers run too small & the pull ups are 💩 since the sides don’t open. I need help too😂🤦‍♀️ We’re on Huggies night time pull ups & Target brand pull ups during the day.

It’s by weight mostly. Our 8 mo is in size 5 and he’s not fat, just a big boy :) you can always tell if something is too tight.

My 2 year old wears a 7 now, about to transition up. It isn't just by weight, you need to go by how they fit. My poor kid was blessed with a big butt and wide hips. So trying to squeeze a smaller size on leaves red marks on him, and is painful for him. Next size up is either order 8s online, or use 4T-5T pull ups. (Fyi, you should be able to find size 7 in walmart as well)
