Diaper stockpiles

Does anyone have an idea on how many size 3 diapers a baby may go through. My baby is 7months old and weights about 16.5 lbs. I have a stockpile so far of 924 size 3 diapers and trying to figure out if I should start getting size 4 or counting with size 3.

    That’s plenty in my opinion

Size 3 and 4 were what my son blew through the fastest. I don’t think I bought more than 2 boxes of each of those (the giant Costco sizes).

My son is 11 months and still in a 3. We’ve gone through at least 800 so far.

We shot through size 3 and have been on size 4 for a while. Every kid is different.

My daughter is almost 8 months and I just bought another 300 size 3 diapers. She is only 17 or 18 lbs, so she will be in them for a while. It really depends on your kid, but I think 900-something is a good for now.

Ok thx. Diapers are on sale now so I’m just trying to buy enough now so I don’t have to pay full price for them. I bought enough diapers last yr at this time that I didn’t have to buy any until now.

I think that's plenty might want to look into size 4. My little one was only is size 3 for a month and have been in a size 6 since she 7months old

If it’s any help, my son is 22 pounds (6 months) and still in size 3.

I think that depends on your baby, I always have to buy largest diapers than the recommended weight because my daughter is bottom Heavy and the recommended ones are too tight

Mine was in size threes for not long, I think we did one Costco box of size 4. She has been in size 5s for a long time now. I always like them bigger. Anything we had leftover is still around for baby number 2. I would start getting size 4.

I’d say you’re good. Don’t buy anymore until you get through those. Mine blew through size 3’s. We were in them for a couple weeks, and then went to size 4 and started potty training! So now he’s in both diapers and pull ups!

Also, quick side note- if it ends up your baby outgrows them before you get through them all, you’ll be able to take the excess ones to a local shelter and donate them!!!

I would say that is enough diapers for size 3. My little one was not in size 3 or 4 diapers long but he just a very big kid. I would recommend using what you have and probably look into size 4

I think it really depends on your child. My son is 20 months old and is still in size 3’s. He is small for his age, but he is healthy and has been in size 3’s for a very long time.
