Eating with a toddler

My son will be 2 in October and he has decided that he doesn’t want to eat anything I give him. But when dad or Mimi feed him, he eats like he’s starving. Is there something I can do to fix this or is it just a phase?

It’s just a phase. They are learning all about independence and to have a mind of their own. You’re not doing anything wrong Mama. Hang in there. This too shall pass. Just keep at it, I know it’s frustrating!

I'm having the exact same problem with my 14 month old. It's a rare occasion that my son will eat what I give him. But if his grandparents or dad feed him he'll eat anything.

Yes probably a phase. My 1 year old is similar... only he doesn’t like anyone feeding him right now, he wants to do it himself. Maybe your little one has gotten “yummy” food from grandparents and daddy before so he associates that to them and mommy to more healthy food? Aka not so “yummy”

It’s a phase. My son will be 2 in October also and he gets like that on and off every single month!
