Exclusively Breastfed and I would like to introduce cows milk

My daughter 1 yr and 4 months old drinks water and juice from a sippy cup but will absolutely not drink milk. I have tried to warm it and everything. She just tastes it and spits it out. I have never pumped so she has never had breast milk from anything other than my breast. How can I wean her from my breast to cows milk. Ps she has been offered a bottle to try to introduce milk and won’t even put her mouth on it. She looks at it like it’s alien 👽 I’m just lost. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I would try your hand at pumping some milk for her, get her to drink even 1 sippy a day of BM. Once she does that consistently, start mixing cow milk in that, slowly oz by oz over time. If she continues to resist, I would stop offering the breast and force her to take it from the sippy and pump it. I would assume eventually you plan to no longer breast feed so she needs to transition.

Yes I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and have been EBf for almost four years. My son is 3.5 and he EBf until she was born and then she has been on. I haven’t been able to find a pump that actually works for me. I tried three different ones and they will pump and pump and pump and not even an oz comes out but if I put the baby on my breast they would be able to get bunches. Weird I know but that has been the problem. I thought it was the pump and I bought other ones and I was wrong. Idk how the baby’s get the breast milk out so well and the pump not? Many times I would try to pump and when the baby nursed I could hear the swallowing and then put pump back on and nothing and then baby and boom 💥 idk my breasts don’t want to give milk to the machine lol I have hand expressed but it hurts me a lot like my breast gets so sore from it. I don’t know if I even plan to bf the new baby bc I don’t want to be bf for another year again or longer depending on baby. I’m very torn. I may just buy another pump and try a different brand again. Thanks for your comment

Regarding pumps, see if you can rent a hospital grade pump from your hospital. Those work much better than regular pumps.

My 4 year old breastfed until 2 and half and wouldn’t drink milk either until I stopped breastfeeding

Try whole milk first n if u had then 2% milk. Also consider brands some people are very sensitive on the slightest taste when they don't drink their brands.
