Fighting sleep and bottle feeding.

It’s like my 6m old knows and does everything to avoid sleeping and/or bottle feeds when it’s before bed time. Also when we put her down for the night she will cry for what seems like forever. Once she is asleep she will randomly jolt into a whine, do that and cry. And than go back to sleeping. I’m worried and frustrated I’m not doing things right. Should I just let her cry wen I know she’s fed and has a clean diaper? Suggestions???

I would suggest the ferber method, it worked for us! Instead of letting our daughter cry it out for long periods of time we tried that for bedtime and it worked like a charm. It may take a bit for her to get used to it but by the 4th day our daughter had come to terms with bedtime. We also had a nighttime routine as well- bottle, oatmeal, bath time, and a white noise machine. We also have a little mobile above her bed which spins, we would wind that up and she usually looks at it until it stops turning then she falls asleep. Hope this helps!!

You let them cry it out for 3 minutes, then go check on them and calm them down (don’t pick them up and try not to talk either) then if they continue wait 5 minutes do the same thing and then 7 minutes. If you look it up online it shows you a whole chart of it
