Give me all the organizational tips, please!

We are expecting our second daughter in December and we will be trying to make our tiny two bedroom apartment work until we can buy a house. We’re pretty minimalist and don’t have a lot of clutter or unnecessary stuff, but I’m desperately looking for some kitchen organization hacks. I think I spend a good deal of my life these days frantically hunting for Tupperware lids and I might lose my mind soon. What are your favorite products or tips that help keep your cupboards organized and your sanity in tact? 🙃

First of all get rid off all your unwanted stuff by either donating them or selling it on craigslist, letgo or Facebook groups. Then try organizing one room at a time. We have a bin for all the Tupperware lids. Maybe that could help. It’s not easy. But you can do it...

I try to throw things out or sell or donate at least twice a year. It helps keep things organized. The cabinets in our kitchen and the shelves in them won’t fit any of those organizers so I try to keep all the pots and pans sorted by size and shape. I do the same for the Tupperware, nesting all the same shaped ones together and keep the lids propped up on their ends either next to or behind the stack of shape they belong to. It’s really helped, except it seems I am the only one who sticks to this system. Luckily (?) I’m usually the one putting the dishes away so it never gets too bad.

I am in the exact same situation! I have 2 daughters and in a small 2 bedroom duplex. I have a hutch in my kitchen for extra space. We also have very little stuff, nothing more than what we need. I buy the same Tupperware with 2 sizes where all the lids are the same and fit both sizes. It works perfect for us

My MIL had her pans and pots hanging above her isle. This would open up a whole cabinet area for you to store kitchen utensils.

Ive used these pull out racks and it saved us so much frustation. Easy installation. Also, "splurging" (or getting a Groupon) on getting house cleaners to come do a deep clean on your kitchen would be worth it to revamp whats in your cabinets!

Idea: throw a reverse baby shower! Invite friends and family to your home for a day to help you organize, build shelving, and take things to donation/trash/etc. Or help themselves to things you don't need anymore!
