As long as you’ve got a plan and plenty of free time you’ll be good. Best of luck!!!

Don’t expect much. I’ve been potty training my very verbal 2 year old for 6 months now. She turns three in August... I’m pretty sure she’s getting married in diapers. I hate potty training. I agree with the beer tho

Yeah he will be 4 in June and hates to get changed. Ready or not it's time. Tired of fighting him for a diaper change lol

Although bad... candy as reward worked as a start. Problem now is he’s almost 3 and his pee stream shoots higher than the potty shield..

If you have a boy, you can use cereal and have him try to pee on the cereal like it’s a game. For a girl, I just kept introducing her to the potty and got one of those toddler inserts for the toilet. I’ve sat on the toilet while she sat on the potty. If she was on the toilet, I sat near her and verbally encouraged her. I even tried the weekend and leaving her without any bottoms at all. Encouraging the bathroom at set intervals.

Just a heads up: The fighting will continue. Whenever I ask my son if he needs to pee (after several hours of no potty) he says no. Even in the morning when he hasn’t gone all night. And then it’s often nerve wrecking to convince him to go. 🙄
