Has anybody here subscribed any monthly book clubs for kids?

Has anybody here subscribed any monthly book clubs for kids? Is it worth it? I found a review for some here... https://www.cratejoy.com/box-insider/kids-book-boxes/ I know there are others too. I am thinking of subscribing to one for my almost 6yo daughter.

I just do the library. I’d rather save my monthly money for one of the art or science crates

Look up dolly patrons imagination library for a more affordable option!

My granddaughter had a lending book subscription run through preschools. Every month they dropped off a selection of about ten books in a bag and you returned to the preschool and picked up the next months books. I don’t remember the cost but it was a great way to find books you liked without the full cost of purchasing them as well as having a well curated selection that saved two parent working families time they might not have during the week to go to the library. The more ways to get exposure to books the better so I imagine if funds are not an issue, these subscriptions would be a great way to build a home library. I am also curious if anyone has purchased one of the subscriptions and what they think of the book selections. Another less expensive idea may be a children’s magazine.

EarlyMoments.com has a nice selection of book subscription options. For a 6 year old, maybe the Dr. Seuss option?

I’m trying out a monthly subscription with Amazon Prime books. So far so good. You can kind of choose but after a certain mark, you get what they send. 20 bucks a month for 4 board books.

I also get monthly free books from the Dolly Parton foundation.
