Help with sleep!

My 3 month old always slept swaddled in a bassinet next to our bed. It helped him sleep as he would constantly wake him self up with arm flailing. He is now newly able to (almost) roll over, we have stopped swaddling and have brought him into our bed. The arm flailing is still happening! It’s to the point that he wakes himself up at least once an hour and needs to be calmed back to sleep ( nursed, rocked, held, etc.). I work 2.5 days a week so on those nights it’s really tough to be constantly woken up. I really wouldn’t mind it if it didn’t take so long for him to fall back asleep only to do the whole process over again 45 minutes later. Anyone else’s 3+ month old do this? Any tips/words of encouragement? Thanks in advance!

I used a love to dream swaddle up 50/50. You can zip the wings off, so you have can him have 1 arm out instead of both and it helped my LO transition to not being swaddled. Also, I've heard zipadeezips are good because they can wear them even if they are able to roll

Move him to a crib. He may be waking more due to noises. My baby slept so much better once we moved him into his room at a month old. He would wake up every two hours or so until I moved him to his room then he slept for 5 hours straight.

I second the crib. Move him to the crib, and once in the crib, for the first week or so, jump up and feed him console him like normal to help with the transition. Then after a couple of weeks, slowly be less responsive to his night complaints. This will also get you night trained as well!

Same here! I kept mine swaddled until his arms stopped being so crazy! He never tried to roll when he first started unless it was play time and on the floor and stuff so I wasn’t too worried. Also helped he was right next to my bed :)

I would still swaddle just with one arm out. It helped her so much!
