Pediatrician should be able advise you.

Your pediatrician will be a great resource but I think overall there’s not much you can do...if the sores are in their throat let them eat and drink whatever they want to stay hydrated (pedia pops or anything cool seems to help), and if the sores are on their body let them wear loose fitting clothes. If it’s too itchy, baking soda baths help to neutralize the itch. Good luck!!

Not much! I found Aveeno baby eczema cream helped a lot with the spots. I caught it from my kids too. When there are sores in the mouth it is very difficult to eat or drink anything at all!

You kind of just have to wait it out. Lots of fluids and we used Aquapher on the spots and it seemed to help them go away faster. We also sanitized all of his toys and the house regularly while he had it and kept him covered so as to try not to spread it more.

It’s a virus that has to run its course. Motrin or Tylenol for pain, if it’s in the mouth, so they can eat and drink. And moisturize the skin.
