Please suggest me how can i increase weight of my baby....what food, veggies or fruit help??? Thanks in advance.
Why is it that your concerned? Has your pediatrician mentioned gaining weight?
Yess...she is 7 month and 20 days old....n her weight is only 15.6 pound
Well I’m not sure exactly how to get a baby so young to gain ... but if it makes you feel any better my 18 month old is 20 pounds and I’m trying to get her to gain too. Maybe try more potatoes, and pancakes for breakfast that’s what I’m trying along with pedisure and chocolate syrup. Maybe you can try giving her some whole milk with a little chocolate syrup as well
Is she on formula or breastfeeding or both? My son was really small too.. still kinda is but we got him all caught up by supplementing with formula.
At 8 months the best thing is more breastmilk and formula. Or both. My doctor had us add a half scoop of formula to each breastmilk bottle and pet extra in formula bottles. Ask your doctor.
How much bm/formula does she take per day? Is she taking in close to the recommended amount? If so, there might be something GI going on. If not, suggest upping her intake.
My 9 month old does not drink a lot of formula he drinks like 5oz every 4-5 hours but I think it’s because I give him a lot of solid foods like crackers puffs. And scrambled eggs hash browns from Mc Donald’s. Bits of chicken. And his baby oatmeal or rice with a scoop of formula and mix with his baby fruit or vegetable jars.
Oh and apple or pear juice when he is eating.
She is on bf....not formula.... recently I started solids as ped told...let c how she grows ... thanks for the suggestion everyone
Sounds like any fruit or veggie is what she needs but I've always read that you should introduce one or 2 per week to be sure there isn't allergies and that meat should be first, then veggies and fruit last.
