Ice them! Cabbage leaves help a lot! But those only lasted me 5-10 min so I went straight for ice packs lol it was a huge life savor! Also go into the hot shower and try to express a little.... avoid pumping if you can, because that may tell your boobs to keep producing!

If you are not going gradual with stopping, I would worry about getting clogged ducts or mastitis. I have always gradually increases the times between pumping for a month before I was able to stop which makes it so I never get any pain while drying up.

Avoid pumping. Hot/steamy towels and hot showers

Wear a tight sports bra 24-7 and do not shower for 2 days if you can.... the water will actually stimulate and could cause you to produce more.

I pumped for maybe five minutes for a little relief and cold cabbage leaves feel AMAZING. I literally have them stuffed in my bra right now

My doctor told me to take any sort of decongestant to dry up my milk. I took Claritin for a little over a week and that did it.

What I do is to take hot showers before feeding my baby, and when he’s done I put some cold water on my breast or ice. You can try this and always make sure you don’t have mastitis

I would not wear tight-fitting clothing as that could lead to clogged ducts and mastitis. Definitely avoid hot water hitting your breasts directly. I’m not here yet so I’m not speaking from experience for how to dry up but this general advice for how to avoid pain and illness that I think is pretty valuable for you.
