I took my little kids to all 3 outdoor public pools so I could compare them. Jimmy Hilton has one slide in the zero entry area (best for ages 3-6). There are also slides for swimmers 48" and up. The splashers and fountains are fun, but not overwhelming or difficult for hesitant kids to avoid. The zero entry area slopes gradually into deeper water, which makes it a little difficult to ensure adventurous kids don't get in over their heads. I found it difficult to supervise/entertain both of my kids simultaneously. We brought some floating bath toys and two nets (they are frog nets, which are slightly sturdier than butterfly nets) -- this ended up being fun for everyone. There is no nearby playground for drying off after swimming. (Overall, I prefer the Horace Mann pool.)
