I want to make a birthday card for our nanny that's "from" my son so I thought it would be cute to decorate it with his fingerprints or handprints. What kind of ink could I safely use for this? Hopefully something I can buy on my way home tonight because her birthday's tomorrow! Any other ideas? "We" are also making some baked goods I know she likes and giving a birthday bonus.

We use https://www.amazon.com/ALEX-Jr-Tots-Finger-Paints/dp/B00BDMN9H0/ I guess technically it says 18+ months but we used it earlier just making sure my daughter never put it in her mouth :-)

Do it with beet or berry juice, spinach puree and turmeric.

Yeah I just went to Joanne's and found a non-toxic washable paint. I think crayola.

you can use non-toxic paints (Crayons washable fingerpaints are good) or even non-toxic ink (I would just make sure it was also washable). I used the first with all my kids starting at just a month old. 😊

It's probably too late now, but it's easier and a lot less messy if you use an ink pad.
