We built our three year old a climbing wall because she thinks she’s an American ninja warrior. Big building blocks, books, trucks, and craft stuff are big for her too right now.

All the above mentioned and also Calico Critters or any little doll figures- they seem to like tiny figures and should not hopefully be putting in mouth. Maybe a larger set of plastic bugs, animals or dinasours if you don't want too small. They can always add to what they may already have too so don't have to worry about duplicates. They can start some simple board games now too like matching games. Toy drill set- this one expensive but almost three loves it.

A doctor’s kit or veterinarian kit are both big hits in our home! Play houses (we have an awesome safari from Plan Toys). The season is appropriate for golf set, t-ball set, soccer goals, et.

I would do something like an abc tablet or just do a pretty princess party. My two little girls (2&3 about to be 3&4) live with their father and he just got them their own beds so I bought these little light up butterflies that have sticky on the back to decorate their room. I think they will have fun with it. Also, I would say that at 3 my daughter wanted to engage with social media more and also be a independent. She started telling me that she got it and she can do it and telling me that she’ll do it over and over again. But playing dress up is the ultimate fun of a girl that age. Put makeup on her and let her wear a pretty dress and nail polish or stickers everywhere. Especially invite a couple of the boys and girls that are close in age and live in the area. Before u know it she will want to do what ever mommy does to learn how to interact with boys. I couldn’t believe that my little girl said she had been kissin boys.

Target has a less expensive version of Calico Critters called “Lil Woodseys” they are a favorite at our house! Ponys are also usually a hit! A new set of (washable) markers and a book of stickers!
