If you're expecting or have an infant...highly recommend a dockatot. We've used ours for several hotel stays and it's been awesome! It fits in our suitcase and super easy to travel with.

What is it? Pardon the lack of effort in googling it😋

I was super interested in these! I just didn't think I could afford buying one :(

I got an off brand one on Etsy @ babynestshop.

Can also use a pool noodle in a pillowcase!

@Neha it's a small sunk in mattress for babies (this style is for under 8 months, but they have larger ones too). When my son was born-3 months, we put it in bed with us in between my husband and I. Now it's in my son's bassinet. He sleeps so great in it.

@LorrieMae Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but it was pretty much the only thing I bought for this kid. I had most things from my first. It has been worth the cost though.

I've been considering one but wasn't sure it was worth it. How long will it last? I saw there were two sizes. My LO is 6 weeks but already in 3mo clothes!

@Karva I have the smaller one that's for under 8 months. My son is 5 months (today) and has almost outgrown it in length. I'm thinking about getting the larger one for his crib.

We use it as a co sleeper now.

Putting it inside a crib or bassinet is the issue, it is designed as a stand alone product, so when the child's face goes up to the side, the side has room to move outwards . If it's trapped against a hard surface such as crib or bassinet side, it may suffocate the kid, like a crib bumper.

I hear ya, but there is no extra space in the bassinet when he used it there. I also only put him in it (in the bassinet) before he was turning over. He's now in the bassinet without it since he's outgrown the dockatot, as well as turning over. When we use it in a hotel...it's in between my husband and I.

Does anyone know the difference between this and a boppy?
