Our daughter loves her rocking horse. We got it from target pretty cheap and it’s low to the floor so she can get on and off by herself. And she will pull it around behind her. She also loves flip books with hidden items on the page that you have to move the flap to find them.

I searched for Montessori toys in Amazon and got a couple fun things for my toddler that seem kind of brain healthy (is that a thing?). See really enjoys them, I think they challenge her brain a bit. I got some stacking pegs and they're great to travel with.

Leap Frog Pup Pal Violet. It plays songs and talks. My 20 month old sings with her, dances, hugs and carries her. She sits her in chairs and pretends to feed her.

Play kitchen from Ikea is our #1 most played with item. We got it for our daughter at 17mo and now at 3.5 she still plays with it. Our 1yo son also loves opening and closing the doors and pressing the light buttons. The best $100 ever spent.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet... Plastic bottles, paper towel tubes, tissue paper or magazines to rip or crumple, she gets free reign on the tupperware cabinet, junk mail (ooh look at this pretty envelope, it's for you! 🤣), hats, purses or tote bags I'm not using, leaves from outside in a little dish bucket we use as a sensory bin, contact paper or pieces of tape/stickers. Sometimes the cheapest or free stuff is the most exciting at this age. Actual toys my 21mo loves: her baby dolls and Elmo stuffies, coloring with markers or crayons, water wow (Melissa and doug painting with water), pretend food and kitchen items, and this cute little sink that has running water ($15 at walmart)
