Lunch, I keep simple. I don't have time for three cooked meals a day PLUS all the cleaning. So for my 1 & 3 yr old I heat up hot dog(slice up w some ketchup), give them some ham, Turkey(sandwich meat), pre make some chicken soup w vegetation, heat up some chicken fingers, they love broiled tilapia or salmon. Heat up some leftover Chinese food. With 2 babies I have learned to simplify. Please don't judge me. Snacks they love cucumber and carrot sticks; strawberries, apples n oranges! Hope this helps.

I agree, keep it simple for lunch so you're only cooking once per day. Breakfast- cheerios, kix, eggos, kodiak pancakes/muffins, eggs. Lunch for my 20 month old: pb&j, hommus, cottage cheese, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, veggies, cheese quesadilla, corn dogs or leftovers from the night before. Any combination of those ideas. Dinner: I typically only cook the nights my husband is home. If he's not home we eat leftovers, mac n cheese, spaghetti. If husband is home I typically cook in the Instant Pot. If you do not have one you need one. Makes cooking way easier...one pot and dinner is ready. Tons of recipes on fb communities, apps & pinterest.

My daughter is almost 1 year old. I make her the same veggies I used to puree. She eats solids so it could still be mashed up a little bit but now she also eats the same things with her fingers like cut carrots and broccoli and I'll save some for dinner and make a small pot of rice or pasta. At lunch She'll eat fruits and string cheese, peanut butter and jelly on bread or crackers. Sometimes eggplant parmesan or sweet potato fries. I'm not feeding her meat yet, so when I cook it's typically one or two pot clean up.

Our baby eats what we eat mostly!
