My daughter will be 3 months in a few days an isn’t a fan of tummy time.

She’ll maybe last a min! Is that pretty normal ? Also, is there a way to increase the time by helping he enjoy it more. She’s just been so clingy recently as well.

If you have a baby carrier, wearing her will help her engage her muscles the same way tummy time does! It’s also really helpful during clingy phases 🙂

At that age I did a lot of tummy time on mommy. I would lay my LO on my chest/stomach so she was looking at me the whole time. I also used the boppy to prop her up a little if we were on the ground. I also would put my phone on selfie mode and put it in front of her, so it was like a mirror. For some reason, she liked the phone but not an actual mirror.

Tummy time is important even if it’s just for a couple minutes a day. Try doing it on your chest. If that doesn’t work, she may just have to be upset for a few minutes a day. My baby didn’t like tummy time either, but when comparing him to his twin cousins (no tummy time) they’re backs are bent and they’re heads are misshapen. It’s important! Hope this helps.

Mine hated tummy time. Just do the best you can. Don’t stress too much... I tried but he just always cried no matter what i did. So we just kept it short and sweet. My son is perfectly healthy and didn’t have a misshapen back or head like previous post said. He just didn’t crawl much... crawled for like 2 weeks and then started walking. (He is now 3 yrs old and perfectly healthy).
