My LO is four months and has been refusing the bottle.

My baby boy has been refusing the bottle since he was six weeks old. I’ve tried all kinds of bottles and nipples and nothing works so far. I even mixed half milk and half formula but he doesn’t like that either. Any suggestions?

Try nuk bottles they are meant for breast feeding moms. They’re suppose to resemble a nipple.

Comotomo bottles too. Supposed to be closest to breast.

Have u tried someone else feeding him the bottle or trying to give it when he is just a bit hungry? My daughter never took to a bottle it was a struggle; hope yours will. Keep trying :)

Thanks Elle! Apparently comotomo is a bit better. At least he suck on it for like 10 seconds and gave up. :(

Thanks Raji! Yes, his dad and my sister both tried. He would cry and cry for an hour and fell asleep. :( We are trying a sippy cup next.

Sometimes it just takes reintroduction, and it takes a while. If you keep trying it may happen eventually!

I tried a bunch of brands and no luck... Had slightly more success when I switched to a higher flow rate (I'm producing a ton of milk and have strong Let-down... Thought maybe the bottle was too slow in comparison). But it was still a unhappy struggle. She spit out pacis too. And I kind of gave up trying for a couple weeks. Meanwhile she started playing with a wubbanub paci toy, and learned to suck on that... And I tried the bottle again this week (She's just turning 4 months) and she drank it down like it was no big deal!! And has done so daily since! So there's still hope for you that your LO will figure it out!
