Parenting books

Does anyone know any non religious parenting books? I have the The Danish Way of Parenting which is great just looking for more reads.

The best of the best: in order of increasing specificity. “The Collapse of Parenting” - a general account of the failure of the past couple of generations in Parenting and where we are now. “Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids - How to stop yelling and start connecting.” A treasure trove of compelling research and the “how to handle situations like X without losing it” action items that derive from them, with content for every age/developmental stage. Kids are basically always craving connection every time they misbehave, this books taught me how to see it, what to expect, and how to give it to them. Revolutionary. “Simplicity Parenting” - THE framework for optimizing time and space for your child’s development to unfold naturally and spectacularly. A brilliant companion read to “Peaceful Parent...”. “Collapse” got me fired up. “Peaceful” taught me how to truly empathize, “Simplicity” taught me how to handle the bullshit our society is giving us. These books made me seriously re-examine my upbringing and the habits I was bringing to my kids with my wife as common Americans. I cannot recommend the last two enough!

Oops! Kim John Payne is the author of the Simplicity Parenting I’m referencing. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you read it. I feel like I could listen to others talk about it for hours. There’s just so much to learn and reframe.

Haha yeah that was worded oddly. “Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids” by Dr. Laura Markham and “Simplicity Parenting” by Kim John Payne M. ED
