Parenting books recommendations

Anyone have any parenting books they recommend? I am a sham of 4 boys ( 6 and under) I recently ordered How to talk so little kids will listen... anyone else read this book? Any other parenting books catering to dealing with toddlers and not lose your mind? Tia

Positive discipline for preschoolers by Jane Nelsen. Totally different approach to parenting (at least compared to how I was raised)

It’s Ok Not To Share and It’s Ok to Go Up the Slide, both by Heather Shumaker. Great books, I loved them! Totally different approaches to parenting that most people are used to but that do make a lot of sense when you think about it. I have a 2 and a half year old and I’ve been using a positive discipline approach and also child-led on certain things and it’s been great!

How to Talk is great. I would also recommend Siblings Without Rivalry and Child of Mine: Feeding with Love and Good Sense

I second Positive Discipline for Preschoolers; also loved Janet Lansbury’s No Bad Kids- and even better (since I never have time to read anymore!) is her podcast, Unruffled. It has dramatically changed how I parent, and is in nice focused short chunks around a specific topic each time. I recommend that one for any parent or caregiver of young children!

I second No Drama Discipline. I also really liked The Conscious Parent by Shefali Tsabary. I recently listened to the audiobook, Scientific Secrets for Raising Kids Who Thrive by Peter Vishton, and found it extremely helpful. It’s all evidence-based information and interesting information.

Montessori Toddler. It has changed our family for the better. My son listens more and I understand him more clearly emotionally and interactively. Huge difference. Also a very calming book. Her diction helps put me in the mind set and calm that is missing I think from other parenting books.
