Picky or upset stomach?

My daughter got the stomach flu this last Tuesday, and ever since then for dinner she has been so picky to the point where she won’t eat at all. She wasn’t like this at all before she got sick, and its especially bad at dinner time. Sometimes even during the day she will spit out something she used to like, but I’ve never seen her go without eating a meal. Could her stomach still be upset?

I think she's gun shy, so to speak. Maybe something she ate triggered the reaction, or she ate something before being sick and it was awful on the way back out. I would say just ease her back into it slowly. I know after being tummy sick, I shy away from certain foods myself.

My daughter just dealt with this this weekend! Yes it can still be upset! My daughter just now started eating. I’d stick with the brats diet. Bananas rice applesauce toast. Just very bland food that won’t upset the tummy. It took my daughter three days to eat right again.

Okay guys, she actually ate dinner last night and then woke up about midnight and threw up a lot. She’s had a banana and toast so far this morning with water and I’m waiting to hear back from her dr to see if I should bring her in

Dr said as long as there no fever (there isn’t) and no other symptoms occur or she gets worse she will be okay without a visit. She said most likely a virus
