💩 question

My 7month old was on breast milk and only pooped 2x a wk. which is ok for breast feed babies. But As of Saturday She has been strictly on formula and hasn’t 💩 yet. Wondering how long it will take for her to start 💩? I’ve tried some stuff but no luck in getting her to 💩. I think she needs to go because when I put her on the toilet to potty she tried to 💩 but Starts crying and wants to stand like it’s hurting her when she pushes. 😬🤔

We switched our little one over at 3 months and it took 3-4 days when we switch. So we did lots of bicycle kicks, rubbing her tummy, inserting tip of thermometer in her butt and also gave her a little prune juice about 1oz(we didn’t dilute it).

My daughter pooped every day whether she was EBF or later on when she also had formula supplementing her breastmilk. My understanding was that the body is less efficient at breaking down formula (meaning more waste) therefore there should be more frequent poops compared to breastmilk fed babies. Have you tried feeding her prunes or another fruit that helps her poop?? I would also consider adding a probiotic to her formula. Good luck!!

I did try all that. I knew as soon as I ask about her 💩 she would 💩. So finally she 💩. 🎉🎉 When I have the money I get a probiotic but I’m low on money right now.

Yayyy, so glad she pooped for mommy:-). My daughter has ongoing constipation issues, I’ve learned nearly every trick in the poop book but one that hasn’t worked for me is asking about it! 😅

One tablespoon of corn syrup in 6oz of bottle or juice does the trick and fast! Always my go to for my little ones

For some reason my kids like to prove me wrong in anyway. So if I say they are doing something they will do the opposite. But I have to tell someone other then family or it doesn’t work. It’s so funny. My older kids will be doing something I don’t wan them to do and I just tell someone then they just stop.
