Sleep regression?

The past 2 weeks or so, my 19-month old has been a terrible sleeper. He used to be great - easy to put down, sleep through the night, wake up happy. But these days, he does none of these things. He cries when I try to put him down, wakes up in the middle of the night, and wakes up cranky. We have a solid routine. Why the change?

No advice but my 18 month old is doing the same crap!!! Usually if I mess with his schedule I can figure it out but I can’t figure it out this time 😩 I hope it’s just a phase!! I’m thinking teething? Just not sure. My son will lay In bed awake until like 9pm!!

    Could he be teething?

I think their has to be something wrong, usually children cannot sleep for many reasons, you just have to find out why and be patient about it. For my kids, if they’re too hot they don’t sleep, if they’re hungry they don’t sleep, if they’re annoyed and the list goes on..

No such thing as sleep "regression." They're babies, not addicts. Something is preventing him from sleeping, and he needs his parents to help fix it. Figure out what you're doing differently or if something hasn't increased to keep up with his growing needs. Hunger Diaper Teething Nap time/length Temperature

I thought it was teething. He is getting his canines. How long can teething pain like this go on? BUT he’ll sleep fine if he sleeps with me. So I don’t know what the problem is. He obviously can’t tell me yet.

Teething pain can go on a long time. It also may be that he is now in the habit of crying and you may need to re-sleep train him. I also agree with the possibility of temperature. That happened to my 1 yr old last night. She got a little too hot and started to fuss. Once I turned her fan on, she slept much better.
