My poor daughter is 6 months old and she is drooling like CRAZY!!! I know she has to be teething but I don’t see any teeth coming in. Please tell me this won’t go on forever!
Define forever? Lol...my LO is 6 months and has her 2 bottoms but the drooling hasn't stopped because her 2 tops are probably coming. I don't see anything, but I'm sure they will be in at some point. Teething can last a long time because symptoms can start a couple months before the teeth actually show up 😕😕
Ahhh I feel so bad. I just wish her teeth would be here already but nothing.
I feel ya
I don't wanna hurt your heart, but our daughter has been teething nonstop since 5 months and she is almost 9 months. There are days that aren't as bad as others. But I tell ya...once that first top tooth finally pushed through...she has become a lot calmer and is sleeping better finally.
@Haley, did your daughter get a fever with the top teeth? My LO has had a fever from 100-102 the past couple days. We went to the dr and they said she looks fine.
Jenn, she has had some random fevers that I think were related to her teething because nothing else seemed wrong. Never anything over 100.8 though.
My son usually suffers for two months from teething symptoms . After the teeth break through we get a month before he starts suffering again (drooling and frequent night waking). He usually gets two in within a day of each other. I’m hoping it gets better but this has been the cycle for ten months already so I’m not hopeful
No dont worry it will stop its normal for that age
My son is a year and is still popping teeth. Some days are better then others but I've found frozen breast milk popsicles work like a charm. My little one loves them! I've also tired frozen juice and baby yogurt frozen. All work amazing.
My son has been teething since 3 months. Just when I think it’s over he starts another cycle of new teeth coming through. He’s currently 8 months with his 4 bottom and 4 top teeth all cut through the gums.
There is only more to come... however , since we are in the winter time, you might want to keep their chest dry. One tip I have is to layer the bibs. Pit one bib under their shirt and one on top. This will help them to not catch a cold or a runny nose.
My son started teething at 5 months n is still teething and he’s a year old and it took forever for a tooth to pop though but he has 3 now
I wish it did stop but until all the baby teeth come in this is non stop. Put a bib on and wipe your baby’s mouth as much as possible. The drool irritates their skin and might cause more discomfort.
My daughter got her first two bottom teeth at 4.5 months and hasn’t gotten any more since then she’s 7 months now. I’m prepared for when the teething starts again. I’ve bought teething gel from amazon.com, Motrin from the pharmacy and popsicle modes and teething toys from Target.
Welcome to the teething club! Symptoms start before you see anything. My 10 month old daughter cuts teeth slower than molasses. Hopefully her symptoms aren’t too bad. It gets “easier” once you know the signs and what works for you each time a new tooth drops. I hear we will be dealing with teething off and on for years. Don’t worry, try Tylenol on nights that your LO is reeeally struggling, lots of cuddles, get ready for runny noses and maybe a mild cough, less sleep (maybe) and a change in overall mood and appetite. Some of my pals try copaiba oil to rub on the gums. I think we have about 7 different teething toys and my daughter likes a banana teething with small bumpies around the top and a wide carrot thing with handles and small bumps as well. A cold wash cloth is also a big crowd pleaser during night play time.
Good luck and know that this is just a blip in her growth and it won’t last FOREVER.
