Our daughter is having a lot of teething pain, and it makes it difficult for her to sleep. Other than medicine, what are some other remedies?
Cold wet cloth to chew on. We damp a corner and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes to get it nice and chilly.
Honestly, I do infant Tylenol only at night. I think sleep (for the whole family) is super important and I hate seeing LO tired AND in pain. I felt horribly guilty at first for giving medicine but now I see its value, and I only give it feels necessary. Besides breast for comfort if she is still breastfed I can suggest nothing else for nighttime based on my experience! My little guy barely takes the frozen chewers or washcloths during the day, let alone while he wants to sleep.
Rub her gums with a cold clean washcloth.. wet it and squeeze out remaining water then put it in the freezer for about 15 minutes until its icy cold and rub it all over her gums with your finger covered by it. You can also get teething toys (they work good) tylenol also helps you dont have to give it if you dont want but itll Definitely help her! Also they have these teething necklaces (just dont put it on her neck) hold it for her... ice pops help... also they have these net things that you can put food in... I used it all the time to put a frozen strawberry in it so my son can gnaw at it.. I will attach a picture... also you can purchase a teething toothbrush I'll attach the link
